(skin cancer, skin lesions)
For many years Mr Searle has been involved in minor surgery using local anaesthetic techniques as a means of performing excision of small skin cancers, moles, cysts, lipomas etc. The majority of surgery is undertaken as "office" surgery, using minor operation facilities at the King's Road, Outpatient Center or at the Consulting Suite in Portland Place. For the majority of patients such steps involve local anaesthetic treatments performed during a thirty to sixty minute appointment. Often sutures need to be removed the following week, and light dressings are applied to the area as minor operation sites heal.
Mr Searle has a particular interest in post cancer reconstruction, and works in collaboration with several dermatologists in the treatment of skin cancer defects following controlled or Mohs excision of extensive or cosmetically sensitive lesions.
